Our Team
Regis Drevet
Founder, Seismic Interpretation, Deep-water Seismic Stratigraphy - France
25 years of experience in Senior Management and technical roles in Exploration, Business Development and New Ventures. He completed a series of successful acquisitions of acreage and assets and conducted major exploration projects, discovering over 6 billion barrels during his career. Drilled over 30 high-impact wells. Negotiated production sharing agreements in West Africa, Iraq and South America with an oil & gas start-up. Led complex acquisition and divestment negotiations of assets.
Broad experience in different basins: Angola/Congo, Nigeria, Iraq, Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Philippines), Gulf of Mexico, East coast Canada, Alaska, pre-salt Brazil, Senegal, Guyana. Identified and drilled the Guyana discoveries (2013-2017). Participated in successful exploration programs in Guyana, Gulf of Mexico, Nigeria, Angola/Congo & France. Critical in initiating and negotiating new acreage and opportunities in Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, Iraq, Senegal and Congo.
Stacey Hrycak
Geophysical Expert, QI, Acquisition & Processing – Canada
Over 25 years of management and technical experience in Geophysical Interpretation, Quantitative Interpretation, Seismic Operations, Volumetrics & Risk Evaluation and Petroleum Geology. He has worked in a variety of basins and settings in Asia Pacific, Latin America, Western Canada, and East Coast Canada.
Key to the discovery of Husky Energy’s China deep-water LH34-2 and LH29-1 fields proximal to the Liwan field. Directly involved in the early exploration, seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation of Husky’s large deep-water Taiwan Block and successful shallow-water Indonesia Madura Strait Block.
Ugur Erkmen
Petroleum System Analysis Expert & Petroleum Geology – Turkey
Over 40 years experience in petroleum system analysis and exploration geology. He has worked in a variety of basins and settings: Indonesia, Turkey, Western Canada, Libya, South China Sea, Taiwan, East Coast Canada involving both clastic and carbonate reservoirs.
He was a key player in the Exploration & Development program that led to Husky’s gas fields in the Madura Straits, Indonesia. Previously, Chief Geologist for a large Operator in Libya.
